Biography
Everett Giles Marshall was a career military officer who served as a colonel in the United States Army during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. He was involved in various military operations and administrative duties during a period of American military modernization and expansion. Marshall's service spanned the transition from the post-Civil War era into the Progressive Era, during which the U.S. military underwent significant organizational reforms.
