H.W. Morris

Biography

H.W. Morris was a Union general during the Civil War who served in various capacities throughout the conflict. He participated in campaigns in the Western Theater and was involved in administrative duties during the latter stages of the war. Morris remained active in military affairs during the Reconstruction era.
