Biography
Seth Kinman was an eccentric California frontiersman and hunter known for his colorful personality and tall tales of life in the American West. Operating primarily during the 1850s-1870s, Kinman became a minor celebrity through his appearances at exhibitions and his reputation as a skilled woodsman and trapper. He was particularly known for crafting unusual furniture and artifacts from animal hides and bones, which he displayed and sold to curious audiences.
